Support groups are safe and supportive group environments where lupus patients and their friends come together to share their concerns and hopes, as well as their personal experiences in managing their disease and symptoms. Group members collectively decide how often to meet, what discussion topics to address or guest speakers to invite. They may also schedule fun activities like a potluck or movie night if there is interest in the group.
